Our oak floors, reference by reference
Herringbone
The quintessential Parisian pattern, the soul of Haussmann apartments.

Herringbone — short modules laid at right angles — gives the floor a woven effect that warms an old apartment as much as a contemporary house. European oak, sold per m² at factory prices.
Which direction should herringbone be laid?
Convention: the arrows point towards the main light source, or along a hallway. Dry-laying 2-3 rows first avoids bad surprises.
Which board format should I choose?
Modules of 400 to 700 mm, 90 to 120 mm wide, give the classic look; larger modules modernise the pattern in big rooms.
Glued or floating installation?
Full glue-down is the reference for this pattern: stability, solid sound and underfloor-heating compatibility. Some click models also allow floating installation — stated on each product page.
